Video: Rossi rescued after Ducati 1198 breaks down

Nine times world champion Valentino Rossi looks embarrassed as Silverstone staff rescue him and his stranded WSB spec 1198. Rossi was at the circuit on May 18 for some crafty 'practice' laps ahead of the Silverstone MotoGP round on June 12.

"italian piece of crap"

maybe a long time ago, but there's now no reason to believe that a well looked after Duke should be any less reliable than the best the japs can do.  and i should know.

Good example of a typical Brit thinking that if you shout single words with sign language at a foreigner they will understand you. In this case it's even more ridiculous as the guy speaks relatively good English.

What a dickhead

Who does that totally gormless twat think he is talking to Valentino Rossi in that way? The people in charge at Silverstone should ensure that he never sets foot on the circuit again.
Utterly disgraceful lack of respect to the nine times World champion!

W-o-t eees da p-r-o-b-l-e-m-o ?

On a serious note I completely agree, totally cringeworthy attempt to communicate to an Italian with a good grasp of the English language by a pompous twat.

I thought Vale was very polite and patient with the bell end

Gutted!

I was at Silverstone on the 18th for the Ron Haslam race school. Didn't see anything of Rossi, but said hi (in passing!) to Danny Kent who was there practicing on the 4 stroke machines...

idiots

Makes me embarrised to be English.  These morons talk to Rossi in broken English even though the guy speaks very good English.

Silverstone should sack these plebs and get them to apologise to Rossi for speaking to him like a 5 year old!
