Marco Simoncelli blew another chance to break his MotoGP podium duck in Silverstone yesterday, the Italian succumbing to atrocious conditions while he was running in third place. The San Carlo Gresini Honda rider had just been promoted into third position when Jorge Lorenzo crashed out at the first corner when he tumbled out at the same spot on lap 11. Lorenzo high-sided...

remember last time we saw someone showing so much talent yet getting unlucky with frequent crashes/misfortune? 2008 with lorenzo. it wasn't long before he found the balance and I'm positive the same will happen with marco, It's just a matter of time!

I really like Marco. He has a good attitude and is very very talented.

It is just a matter of time (very little) that he will be on the podium.

Go Spies!

Go Simo Go!!

This lad is definitely the one to watch out for, he's the most charismatic rider out there and his racing is just what we the race fans want to watch. He remindes me of Rossi the way he rides that bike, apart from all the crashes of course.

Marco Simoncelli

He's undoubtedly fast, if a little too aggressive, judging by his fellow-racers' comments.  But he can't get away with blaming his crash on the weather - it was his mistake on the brakes that chucked him off.  He's great to watch though, so dust yourself down, Marco, and better luck next time.
