Hugh Curran appears to relish having angered motorcyclists with the first column, which said they should be banned on safety grounds. His follow-up says: ‘Motorcyclists were unconvinced and angry. It's funny how some people would do or say anything to get noticed. So you can go in to a department store and buy a gun but you shouldn't ride a bike !!

Hughie if you lost say 5 stone which by looking at your photo you would be better off without, you would save money on the soapboxes which you stand on and keep breaking because they can,t stand your weight. You would be able to buy a cheaper less powerful car and still have the same performance, fuel economy would probably be better, tyres ( sorry tires ) would last longer. So all in all it would be a win win situation. What you do with your ginger hair is another matter altogether, best of luck with that one I can't help you there i'm afraid.

Hugh Curran

Maybe he wants them banned because he hasn't got the knowledge OR the balls to ride one.
