Most riders in the BSB series buy their rides, the teams find sponsors to run the team, the riders bring money in from personnel sponsors to pay the teams for their rides. Its widespread in all motorsport, so there are many out there who are only there because they have plenty of folding rather than plenty of talent. If Baz comes up with the required money Motopoint need, he'll get the ride, if a brit finds the money, they may get it instead.

Poor baz!

I really feel for Loris, he's a phenominally talented rider, he blitzed the 600 euro superstock crowd at 15/16 years of age... moved up to 1000 and has been stuck on very poor slow equipment ever since.. doesnt help he has VERY strong links with Yamaha who seem to be struggling to do much with that R1 in superstock classes.. and motorpoint have never managed to acheive anyhting either.. igfonly the lad wasnt 6 foot plus tall he'd be great on the moto2 or WSS class for a couple of years.
