Mugello MotoGP: Dani Pedrosa blasts Marco Simoncelli

Dani Pedrosa’s long awaited return to the MotoGP paddock in Mugello today saw the Spaniard launch a stinging attack on fellow factory Honda rider Marco Simoncelli. Speaking at a packed pre-event press conference, the Repsol Honda rider vented his frustration at Simoncelli after their controversial collision during a fight for second place in the French Grand Prix left Pedrosa with a...

The public has spoken its seems, Dorna stop pissing about with smacked hands and PC correctness and tell the guys to man up and start racing! Its motogp race not a school boys motocross! I too like most it seems on here just want to see good close racing which means a few bangs and crashes, thats good in my book!

5 seasons ago

These wankers that keep harping on about 2006, that was one incident 5 seasons ago FFS, get over it..On the other hand we have this Clown Simoncelli commiting the same type mistake over and over, 125's, 250's and now Moto GP it's all the same with this one man wrecking ball. You could make an hour long highlight reel of this idiots fuk-ups but he just never seems to learn. Mark my words, this fuckwit will hurt somebody real bad before his time is through, he should be given some time off to cool his heels, although I dought even that would be enough to get through this Clowns thick skull.

Pedrosa's rant

How do you say “get over yourself” in Spanish?

Some short and selective memories here, can anyone come up with a list of the top guys who haven't gone through a period of regularly throwing it down the road?

Anyway, how many times have we seen it before? When you get a "new" bloke starting to threaten the "established" stars then the mind games soon begin. All the more potent when it's Spain v Italy, but I'm sure cool heads will prevail!?

With regards the Pedrosa/Simoncelli "incident", I did notice in one of the replays (the one from the left rear!that Pedrosa actually appeared to pick it up when Simoncelli was almost past him, thereby running into Simoncelli’s back wheel? If you have a look at the lines they were both on and where they were tracking, it could be argued that had Pedrosa held his line and not picked it up, that Simo would have been past by the time their lines intersected. But no, he ran into the back of Simoncelli. Sorry, but I call that a racing incident.

Simonchelli. The 'Has Been' that never was.

Simonchelli,   I dunno why you are all rav’n on about this ‘one lap wonder’.  It’s one thing to be able to put in one fast lap, it’s another to be able to do it lap after lap after lap, and another to do it in traffic.

And this dickhead can’t do it.

Just having Beattie’s tongue down the back of your pants, doesn’t help the championship points.

Why arn’t we talk’n about better riders like Aoyama.  A-O- who, I hear you say. Aoyama, he is one of the 9 other riders who is ahead of Simonchelli on the championship points.

So let’s recap where has Simonchelli finished this year,  5th, 9th, DNF, 6th, 5th, DNF, DNF, 5th.  And, without doing any maths, has any other rider fallen off more this year, let alone taken out other riders ?   Hardly the record of a champion.  Let’s face it, the bloke is still a novice at best and the only reason we are talk’n about him now is because he has created controversy in continuously falling off and stuff’n up another riders championship.

Hair bear

Or could it be he has been on the front row 5 times this year? Both Jorge and Casey crashed their brains out before it came good for them. Yeah, he's wreckless, but he's way faster that the riders you are bleating about.

The bloke should give up now before he kills someone.  Maybe he should take up speedway.  He can probably string 4 quick laps together, but that's about his limit.

And as far as the issue about Dani not shaking his hand, let’s get this straight.....

You Simonchelli lovers are riding to work tomorrow and this bloke cuts you off.  You crash out and break your arm, but being the hard core rider that you are, you’re back riding to work the next week and pull up to the lights right next to the cockhead that ran you off the road the week before.  He extends his hand to say he’s sorry and you f*g**s  shake his hand and what, say sorry for making him late for work ?

Perhaps you limp wristed Vespa riders need to harden up.
