Rubbish Motogp

Another boring race in Italy.Motogp must be the worst form of motorcycle racing at the moment. The problem is the bikes and lack of riders.Should be at least 30 riders in a race with all this electronic nonsense thrown in the bin.Let's follow moto2 and use 1200cc road based engines with no traction control, fuel management etc.I cannot see Motogp surviving long term if no changes are made.

Admittedly the field needs the addition of those new teams, but the racing was, for once, NOT a procession, with some real racing for once at the front, between Stoner, Lorenzo and Dovizioso - who didn't bottle out of passing his team-mate. Added to this was the battle in the next group, between Rossi, Barbera and Bautista.

If anyone thought this was boring, I can only suggest they don't go watching Formula 1, but I did think that Dorna's television coverage was apalling, as they seemed to have a talent for missing almost every overtake or significant event, and we are lucky to even see them in replay.
