Honda to introduce updates in Germany

Honda will roll out a new electronics package and swingarm for the next round of the 2011 MotoGP world championship in Germany. Casey Stoner, Andrea Dovizioso and Marco Simoncelli all evaluated a new swingarm during a one-day test session at Mugello on Monday. The trio also tried a new engine braking set-up and having found an improvement with both updates, they have...

I wasn't aware they'd already had major updates...?... it is inevitable that manufacturers come out with improvements... if Yamaha had been the 1st to come up with new parts then Honda would've been really panicking having lost the last 2 rounds. Hopefully it won't improve the performance of the bike to the extent that Yamaha struggle to compete. Lets hope we get some good racing 'cos so far we've had Spies, Lorenzo & Stoner winning races by country miles this year.

Won't matter which bike!

Bit of a joke really! I read everywhere about how good the Honda is, yet take Stoner out of the equation and what are the standings?

Take a step back to when the Aussie was on the bike Flo is now rapidly destroying, nowadays you don't see a single story praising that ducati, engine, chassis or otherwise! The RCV's not the cut above the rest everybody thinks, and the results prove it.

You think Stoner on the yam wouldn't be fast?

WTF shit you talking

How did Simoncelli go from being beaten last year by almost all Factory riders and add Tech 3 to the mix, with Colin and Ben yucking it up about who will lose to him. Fast forward to current day he is destroying lap records, setting pole and about to be knighted an "alien"......... and you think it's not the bike.

WTF shit you talking. Take your fat ugly Aussie face out Macey arse for once and write something that makes sense.

Marco the destroyer? WTF

Milkyarse, any one of these riders could throw caution to the wind and wipe chunks off their quickest time, add to that the fact he was always a quick rider in short bursts. Fast but still crashing after 2 seasons on a bike YOU and your girlfriends keep harping on about being the best by the proverbial!

Simo hasn't done a fastest lap of ANY race yet (Idon't think?), and all but Suzuki have managed that feat! And look where he is in the standings! Another false hero for the Flo fans to pin their hopes on.

I think you are fantasizing... again!  Alien? More like a fkn One Lap Wonder!

Ignore Milkyb-arse bud. He struggles with objectivity v subjectivity so just starts bitching. As you state, take Stoner out of the rankings and the Yam would be the top bike so far.

I guess the fact Vale could'nt win a club race on the Duke is getting to him.

is that right?

Well Bob if as you say if any one of these riders could throw caution to the wind and wipe chunks off their time why does your favourite rider not do that and get a decent grid position?

Honda press release - 11/11/2010

HRC said that this week's Valencia test marked Simoncelli's debut as 'a full factory supported rider'.

"We have four factory supported riders next year," said HRC Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto, the others being Repsol riders Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso.

... erm... & I believe there is/was a rule that prevented rookies going onto full factory bikes.
