Aprilia Alitalia rider Max Biaggi secured his second pole position start of the season at Brno, setting the fastest time in Superpole at the Czech circuit. Fellow countryman Marco Melandri (Yamaha World Superbike Team) qualified in second, ahead of Carlos Checa (Althea Racing) in third. Expect nothing new.

But Biaggi domination on his favourite race circuit I think Melandri is the only rider who will able match him on race day tommorow.

as expected

Biaggi on pole...but hopefully some good racing.
Dont think you can rule out Melandri or Checa or Laverty for that matter.
In the dry probably Biaggi but in the wet its got to be Checa?

expert predictions

love your prediction  buelligan272, in your expert opinion you have included the fastest 4, who would ever have thought that one of these 4 would probably win ?

Front row......

Dripping with ex GP riders..... whole front row! Looks like Sykes is the man this year to represent BSB talent in WSB. ??? Rea disappoints more year on year and Haslam is looking second best to Badovini since defecting to BMW? Thank goodness Cal got a break and took it right away. If he would have stayed in WSB it is possible these 4 GP retiree's (well 3.5 as Laverty may still climb the mountain) would have shown him up as well. ***** Brno - in every racers top 3 awesome circuits. Looking forward to some good races tomorrow and reliving my own memories of a real serpent of speed. Lucky Bastards......

Haslam and Rea

The two hopes from Britain and Irealnd have fallen off the map completely from front runners to none runners or failing runners.  Oh! how much has changed in a season Haslam a strong second last  year, and Rea a favourite for this years title are now competely irrelevant competitors.  Haslam has a team that does not want to listen to him regarding developement and Jonny continually having to over-ride his bike to get he best of it and crashing in the process.   It'll be interesting to see where they go next year.

I also believe BMW Italia have moved away from a BMW front set-up and have made significant improvements to boot.  Maybe the German team should look at things differently!

I certainly am no expert but was merely trying to point out the fact Biaggi may run off into the distance as he has done so often at Brno.
Nobody wants that to happen. We want a good scrap right to the end!
Sorry if I upset you.

Moto gp front row of riders and WSB bikes in Moto gp next year!!!!!!!!!! Nothing against the riders from Moto gp going to WSB but big mistake on part of Moto gp allowing stock bike engines into Moto gp. Anyway, it seems that the cream has come to the top!! Who can mount a challenge????????
