Tyre pressure

Hey guys, I was just wondering what the correct tyre pressures should be for my FZS600 as I've looked everywhere, but people seem to be saying different things.

Thanks, Will.

pressures

tyre pressures are only recommended, you will have zr rated tyres so the front is always 34/36 psi and the rear 36/42psi.Try the rear at 36psi then at 42psi to see how it feels.I have 36 all round but with a pillion 46rear with the spring jacked up.

Depends on the tyre

look at the tyre make and size, then go to the manufacturers' website and look at their fitment guide.

This will tell you the optimum pressures for that tyre on your bike. Using the pressures in the manual isn't recommended if you're not using OE tyres. The pressures they choose are to give the optimum balance of grip and tyre life...

...but it also depends on suspension settings and rider weight / riding style. My rear suspension is set soft as I'm less than 60kg, whereas it is set up for an 85kg person. This is going to have an effect on the optimum tyre pressures.

EDIT: F**ks sake. Just seen the date.
