You mean like

Top Trumps? so many marks for being on a big sports bike compared to a little scoot, so many for the smidsy being a Bentley rather than a Fiat? and so on..........:upset::wacko:

seriously, anything that can save vital seconds and minutes has to be a good idea doesn't it? :smile and prevent aggravation of pre-existing complaints :smile

Crash Cards

I had heard something about them in the past.  Here's their website where you can acquire them.

Excellent idea.  Think I'll get one (and hope it don't have to put it to use)

Crash Cards

Excellent idea. When dealing with any casualty one of the most important contributing factors to any initial treatment is obtaining "history" and before you all start i dont mean details of castles and places of antiquity.

Smoto5.....That sounds like a winner CRASH CARD TRUMPS

If they see the green dot on your lid... and you've got a major neck injury (likely) what if they bust your neck and kill/paralyse ya just trying to find out your name???

I'd rather stay anonymous and continue my head-banging career ta..!!

Marcus!!! You're back!! Good stuff!

As Flyer says, and I might be being a little cynical here but is inside the helmet the best place to put it? The one thing you're not supposed to remove unless you've stopped breathing. Not so much worried about a paramedic etc, more a "helpful" member of the public. Might dog tags or a bracelet be an alternative? Mind you, do think this is already in circulation aka SOS Bracelet/pendant. Good idea though,

I agree inside the helmet has got to be the worse idea ever, when some eager first aider decides you havent got a neck injury, I thought the idea was the helmet is only removed immeadiatly if there is an airway problem, this is going to encourage removal, to phone a friend :roll eyes:

I favour this idea

a friend used to have one, this recently in the news convienced me to get one!

Picked my card up at bsb last year, been in my lid ever since :smile

I think the "not removing helmet" is aimed at first aiders and not paramedics, I guess paramedics will know if it's safe to remove it or not.

You can pick them up at on Bikesafe course apparently it was an idea of a motorcyclist paramedic. My kids filled out mine and put in the lid just shows even kids have twigged its a good idea.

My 2007 Schuberth C2

has one built into the outside of the helmet shell. Fill in the card and replace in the helmet pocket. :ph43r:
