showdown should not happen

The showdown was bought in to stop a repeat of the 2009 season when Leon Camier had ran away with the title making the last few rounds academic. With the showdown it makes the last rounds important. It also means that the riders can have a bad weekend and not be unduly punished. I do agree that it was bad form for Shakey to miss out but thats the rules and I think the showdown is here to stay.
