Cadwell Park BSB: Laverty takes red-flagged race one win

Swan Yamaha's Michael Laverty improved his chances of securing a spot in the six rider showdown by taking victory in the first of three races at Cadwell Parl today after the race was red-flagged due to rain at the end of lap 11. Laverty and team-mate Tommy Hill continued their dominance of the weekend with blistering starts off the line, opening...

spot on, i like to watch brookes ride, but he cant keep doing these moves, and keep getting away with it, like whitham said, you do not over take there, and he would off gone to look for him after, cant wait to see the day someone does, might make him think twice nxt time.

I agree entirely,he has had the benefit of the doubt ,but this is just one too many,he should be banned from the series and his licence revoked, we dont need idiots like this in the sport,in all of his "episodes" someone could of been killed,he has ruined Rutters season and a nicer bloke you could not find, but that aside, he shows no remorse and worse still thinks, he is in the right,he deserves a ****ing good slap and sending home, end of enough is enough

Brookes

I was spectating at the entry to Hall Bends and you could see Brookes building up to this from lap one. You could also see that it was never going to work. His judgement is badly flawed. Rutter was 100% the victim of this idiot and thank goodness he is not to badly hurt. Saw exactly the same move with the same outcome buy some cretin in a club race a couple of years ago, thought the paddock was going to lynch him.

Talent but

Josh brookes is def a talent on a bike but boy does he know how to make enemies. Bad move and good decision to revoke his result but it doesnt help Rutter one bit. He couldnt pass a faster guy on a tight circuit!! His actions over the mountain could have really caused a massive accident at that point too. None of us want to see the the mountain taken away or tamed because of supidity because thats what will happen if a big one occurs with too much air involved.

He should also take a points hit to hurt the team so that they make sure he gets it from all sides for his actions.

He know he ahd done wrong with his comments on the bad boy tag after the race!

The Relentless TAS Suzuki manager had a cheek to claim the circuit was the reason for the accident. There have been thousands of races around the circuit and hundreds of better riders than Brookes have ridden it without causing stupid accidents.

There's no justification for making changes to suit one awful rider, who's got a history of hitting other riders on numerous tracks across the country. It would be far easier to ban the menace to ensure he doesn't take out any other riders.

Dont knock Rutter theres not many that have been around there chosen sport for as long as he has and is still able to produce the goods. His race craft is second to non, where as Brooks well send the bloody Aussi home we just dont need those sort of tactics and whats more to the point he knows he was well out of order.
