Misano MotoGP: Gearbox troubles continue for Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi suffered more gremlins with Ducati’s seamless shift gearbox in Misano today after he qualified in a lowly 11th place in front of his home crowd. Rossi’s GP11.1 was struck by a downshifting issue in Indianapolis last weekend when dropped to dead last before fighting back to finish 10th. Rossi’s bike goes into neutral and he was hit by the same...

well makes a change from saying its to hot and he cant get the hard tyres to work ,cant push the front , for some reason or another Ducati dont want to put an alloy frame on there bike , cos if they did there been one by know , put time well tell wat they got dont work , 1.5 of pole your going backwards , hope its a good race worth watching tomorrow , even if its Rossi going off for a cuppa while he trys to find a gear ,

Lack of Technique

Back to basics.........................I posted re- the gearbox in the hope that there maybe someone here who could enlighten us all on the finer points (you keeping up?). You obviously have no knowledge in this area (gearbox) so why post the shite that you do? I've not been derogatory to Vale or Ducati yet you start the Stoner/Rossi rant. Say'smore about you than many here you ignorant fuckwit.

Ducati must give Rossi a better bike...

The guy has proved what they have is shit. It doesn't have the advantage Moaned had in 2007/08. They need that chassis back. Rossi had all the fans cheering and clapping today. Even when doing badly. Not a moaner Stoner fan in site. You have to love Italy. Looks like being another crappy boring race. If Moaner runs away its another easy gifted win. Shame.

I don't understand all this Rossi bashing on here? Why? Whether it's Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo etc, they are all gifted racers with a huge amount of talent

bunch of girls

Alot of people out their are enjoying watching rossi struggle on the duke is this just human nature or is it that they you just a bunch of tossers. Their are 17 riders on the grid and they will all be riding their arsses of and pushing their  bikes to the limit and even the slowest rider out their has more skill and talent in their little finger than all you arm chair riders out their who are constantly criticising some of the best riders in the world so cut out all the bitching like little girls and give rossi and the rest a bit  more support

Frame

Ducati just try an Alloy frame for gods sake.  I listened with interest to the eurosport commentry today.  Bet many people did not know that Honda made a total of 8 different frames last year for the riders to try.  So far ducati has only made one new frame this year from the bike that started the year.  They have nothing to loose by making another frame, and that frame has to be Alloy..

It's a fair bet to say Ducati knew.

im a huge rossi fan and like it was said today that nowa days you are looking from the bottom of the timing sheets upwards where it used to be from the top down which is sad to see really hope the bike gets sorted for next year  because rossi hasnt lost his tallent over night neither has hayden! just give them the frame they wont and ditch the carbon and maybe we might start seeing some results. the racing has become far to borin over the last few rounds i dont mind seein stoner win but it would be soo much more entertaining if he was really pushed to the final lap atleast. Be nice to see spies or simo up there contending for the win but u cant take it from casey he is shit hot this year!!! roll on tomoro its going to be good (hopefully)!!! and also come on danny kent and bradley smith!!!!
