Ducati boss: Rossi is a ‘lion in a cage’

Ducati's engineering expert Filippo Preziosi reckons Valentino Rossi is like a lion trapped in a cage and he warned the Italian's rivals to expect a much more competitive threat once the Bologna factory has improved its Desmosedici machine. Rossi hasn't posed any serious threat to the podium on a consistent basis all season and after 13 rounds off a tough debut...

Rossi and Burgess will get there in the end, and all the haters will look like the muppets they are. You don't win 9 titles on 5 different bikes by chance. Look who hasn't had success of the 800 Duke, Cappers, Melandri, Hayden, ALL previous world champions. Work it out, coz you can bet your ass that Rossi will.

Caramello's Golden Goose.

Hey Prawnstar, you had me convinced... until you mentioned that one turd in the custard! His performance on the ducati simply proves he's been DORNA's poster boy for quite some time.

He's made no progress with the ducati this year, that my friend is the sad truth.

Yam.

Doing a Yam are we?

Talking shit and being biased to the extreme eh?? That will never change.. well, not until Stoner starts getting whooped again that is, then we won't hear from you ya plastic fanboy.

I commented to try and wake you up as you seem to have gotten lost in Stoners recent success which is causing you to be a bit confused over what is fact or utter bollox..

Anyway, Stoner asking for an extra two wheels were ignored for obvious reasons... ;)

Ducati..

Have managed something this season no other bike manufacturer has ever managed - take a multi world champion who has won on countless cc's and different manufacturers and turned him into a mid pack rider!!! Ducati should be ashamed of themselves, best thing Rossi can do is turn this mess around and then burn that Desmon heap of shit in his first win celebration, or maybe he should just ride the bike as hard as he can, smash the shit out of loads of bikes and maybe win once in a while.. Oh hang on that's already been tried.

Plastic fanboy ?

Explain..

and 'Yam, doing a Yam are we?' doesn't really work.. just so you know.

Listen, you said you won't get involved with my posts anymore so why bother ? lack of attention maybe ?

Biased ? and then you go on to say your confuding fact with bollocks ? The comparison to this stage between 2010 and 2011 was valid, so im not sure what season you were watching.

hats off to dredo

That made me laugh my friend youve just summed it up in afew lines. I loved racing and can respect what all riders bring to the sport with an open mind. Every rider is different and has their own qualities.

If a Rider of Rossi's standing goes from being one of the greats to mid pack over one winter it aint his talent thats vanished over night.

Ducati like to be different and build bikes their own way, but its take to admitted defeat and follow the crowd. GIVE HIM FRAME HE WANTS then we'l see the real rossi

Surprise!!!!!

Another damn article about Rossi/Ducati. Jeez. Surely MCN must be on the payroll as a Public Relations firm for Ducati.
