Ok guys im fairly new to the biking fraction so to some this may be a silly question lol .

I currently have 170/60zr17 tyre on the rear my question is do I have to have this same tyre or will others fit on the same rim.Also what tyre would you guys reccomend.

Mick,

It's best to stick with recommended tyre sizes.  The sizes will be quoted in your bike handbook; also, if you look on the various tyre manufacturers' websites they will list the recommendations from their ranges for your machine.

Changing tyre sizes will have an effect on the bikes handling and you may also run into problems with clearances.
