I would say

No as you still have rear lights and switches these would need to be removed

Daytime MOT

To obtain a daytime MOT (Where the machine has no lights or indicators) there must be no fittings, swtiches OR wiring.  If any part of the systems is present it will be considered as fitted and not working; and that is a fail.

A daytime MOT still requires a working brake light and horn.

a day time mot cant have a stop light fitted its all lights or no lights .

my trail bike just had a horn full size number plate roadlegal tires and has no lights at all and passed a daytime.  if the bike has a stoplight fitted it will fail a daytime mot.

I stand corrected :smile

Years back I had an old 3TA that had a brake light and horn but no other lights. That had a daylight MOT.

In a nutshell NO it's not. Your blade will either be 3 years or less and be classed as new so needs lights, or already be MOT'd as a bike with lights. If you remove them the bikes MOT is invalid as you'd need a Day MOT not your current one.

Why will the Blade have to be 3 years or less, and be classed as new???

They started making them in 1992.
