Tommy Hill has won the 2011 British Superbike championship after beating John Hopkins in the final race of the season by six thousandths of a second. With just two points separating the pair going into the race, each rider knew all he had to do wrap up the title was finish ahead of the other. Hill was stuck behind Hopkins for the majority of the race...

tommy, that was an amazing last lap and championship, bsb rules, feel for hopkins, and also shakey after winning the last two races and leading the championship for most of the yr, but thats racing, well done seeley to.

Top Man Tommy

BSB has been immense this season, its been a pleasure to watch. Hats off to Tommy he is as brave as f**k. If anyone deserved to be British Champion its him. Brilliant - Top man Tommy

Tommy signed a poster for me this year and I had it framed and it lived on the toilet wall in the workshop (priority basis due to limited room)...After today's performance he's just achieved workshop wall status....awesome (as was Hopper)

Great ride by Tommy Hill and a great 2 laps he wanted it more I reckon. Gutted for Hopper even with a broken hand has had the wool over Tommy Hill all along, Suzuki mechanical made the biggest difference..

Absolutely made my year, 1st checa,then davies, now Tommy particularly after last year at Oulton. Love the way he keeps on smiling regardless of whats thrown at him. a lovely person and a credit to Motorcycling.
