Kawasaki is refusing to deny the authenticity of a new 1000cc Versys that appears in spy shots emerging from French online motorcycle magazine Moto-Net.com, saying simply it 'has no details' about the bike, suggesting an official EICMA launch may be imminent. This looks interesting, especially if they can keep the weight, and price, down. I am on my 4th Yamaha TDM, and there is no direct replacement, especially at sub 200kg. Good luck to Kawasaki in adding to the mix of all-round, multi purpose bikes. Pete
