Australian MotoGP: More misery for baffled Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi suffered another Ducati front-end crash in yesterday’s Phillip Island race that heaped more frustration and disappointment on the nine-times world champion. Rossi had just passed factory Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista for fifth place on lap 14 at Turn 10 when he lost the front-end of his GP11.1 machine and tumbled out. Rossi was once again baffled as to why he’d...

Smackbum - Maybe you should just stick to watching porn then, surely you'd get more enjoyment out of it than the crap that gets posted on here by both Rossi and Stoner extremists!

It saddens me that this level of extreme fundamentalism has filtered down to supposed fans of MotoGP, you don't get any of this shit in WSB or BSB.  It's all bollocks.  None of us really know what actually goes on in the riders minds, in the pit garage, within the team, and within the factory.  It's just the same old armchair glory-supporting knobs pedalling the same old crap.

It is interesting that when number of posts increases the die-hard fans of the sport seem to stop posting as often as the thread decends in to shit-fest of complete and utter wank posts (Nostro you are the exception to this rule).

I really hope Rossi can come back on the 1,000cc bikes. It's not cool seeing him near the back when his talent is far better. It does go to show what a huge difference the machinery can make though!

It's Not Over!

I am a Rossi fan let me say that but I am also a MotoGP fan. I have a huge respect for all the riders. But Rossi is without doubt the best there has ever been. He is however more or less this season a test rider. Ever race is testing session for him. Winning does come down to machinery no question. Look at Stoner. If he starts from the front he will disappear. But is there anyone who think that if Rossi was on that Honda he wouldn't be even faster? Rossi isn't himself this season it is pretty clear to see. The bike isn't doing as he asks and he clearly doesn't trust the grip he is getting from the front. There are still moments of genius that I have seen so many times in the past. In the rain especially, where Rossi has always been one of the best. Don't rule the man out. They did the same with Mike Hailwood in 1978 and we all know what happened there. If Ducati fix that bike Rossi will be back at the front.

maybe if stoner on the same bike with rossi from 2000-2005, rossi not gonna get 5 times WC that easy. i would say, they'll split it with stoner 3.

Or in your case, it's complete and utter wank posts from the minute you pick up the keyboard.

Excellent demonstration of the most mindless Rossi devotion his fan club has to offer - "it doesn't matter what actually happened, Rossi is just faster I tell you." Mind you there are plenty of other examples on this thread. Anyway, the answer to your question is yes, plenty of people think Stoned would still be faster.

When you've read one of his post you've read them all!!!

I like to read them every now and then, in my mind he has an accent just like Borat.  It always makes me smile.  Obviously it's all utter wank, but it still makes me smile with the accent....
