Australian MotoGP: More misery for baffled Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi suffered another Ducati front-end crash in yesterday’s Phillip Island race that heaped more frustration and disappointment on the nine-times world champion. Rossi had just passed factory Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista for fifth place on lap 14 at Turn 10 when he lost the front-end of his GP11.1 machine and tumbled out. Rossi was once again baffled as to why he’d...

....at this moment in time i would have jorge lorenzo down as the best rider in motogp.

sorry to break the news, but Stoner just won the championship.

When you think about t, there is no reason whatsoever Lorenzo shouldn't have been topping the timesheets at PI. The Yamaha is perfectly suited to a track like like it. The Yamaha is agile and good on the brakes, 2 of the most important factors at PI.

not a blinkered Rossi fan, but a blinkered Stoner hater ? just asking .

I beg to differ Yamelav

Philip Island has but two slow corners (Honda and M.G) and only the former of those is proper hard braking as M.G is down hill. what P.I needs is a stable chassis and a strong engine for the almost continuous 3rd & 4th gear corners rarely at max lean. Ducati attributes as past years testify.

My points were.

Tyres, the bike is on its side a lot throughout a lap. The Yamaha conserves its rubber well.
The first 2 corners, i think for sure the Yamaha should be the quickest here, and i believe Lorenzo had the fastest sector 1 time in qualifying.
The quick left right before lukey heights, the Yamaha should excel around there and up Lukey heights with it's sweet, sweet handling.

I think Stoner is the only difference at this track, i mean take him out of the equation and Yamaha would have won in 08, 09, 10, and if Lorenzo were riding then most likely this year aswell.

One dumb dog and a dillusioned Canadian

Someone call animal control theres a pesky dog hanging around trying to hump everyones legs.

You still upset that Stoner won a second championship and proved all you haters know fuck all?

The sheep joke that's because there are more sheep than human population in Australia? thats the Kiwi's Aussies like there drop bears this dog needs puppy school

Canada I'm not a Rossi hater I have just lost  some respect for him due to his behaviour to fellow riders and because of his blinkered fans . You can take offence at that if you like but the guy who wins the championship becomes the best rider not second or seventh . Yes the guy you hate so much Stoner and sure your not a blinkered Rossi fan  your a dillusional one
