Sepang MotoGP: Casey Stoner not worried by Pedrosa’s hot pace

New MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner said he isn’t worried to be so far behind factory Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa at the end of the first day of practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix. The Aussie was 0.820s adrift of Pedrosa in typically extreme conditions at Sepang that saw air temperatures hit over 30 degrees, with punishing humidity making it a...

Have admire Stoner's ability to set any bike up so quickly. People tend to forget the bloke has had no data from his own performances to use at any circuit on the HRC bike. To be that far clear of Dovi says a lot. Dovi was within a whisker of the win last year. If the deficit to Dani doesn't worry him,it suggests he's only going to get quicker. Keeping up the motivation to win the race after winning the title says it all. This has been a trait of all the greats. Repsol 1-2-3 at this stage on the cards. I thought Simmo would be closer.

Yamaha 3358,nice shot. Many of us miss Stoner on the Ducati as do Ducati.

Edwards still highly competetive, makes you wonder what kind of season he would have had on a Honda!

I don't think next year will be fun for him.

Why would he be.

Worried at the pace Pedrosa is going at Stoner has less pressure on himself know he has the 2011 championship in his hand.

Casey has Danis number and both of them have a dream ticket in the honda.. Honda 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, tomorrow more down to Lynn Jarvis's judgement and Presiozi's incompetence as to anything else..

Whiners in chief all lined up

Wosi pathetically clinging to his one line mantra he's been quoting for more than twelve months, conveniently forgeting Stoner podiumed the Ducati all year 2010 before he started winning.

And tragic little confused HardlyLean still bleating that it's all Prezioso's fault that Rossi can't give clear feedback to Burgess and the factory on a machine he's developed backwards.

Oh the mental contortions - well for Wosi anyway - you must have to put yourselves through to still believe in the sun and moon kid. Sorry guys Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa have checked out to another universe. Rossi, well given Ducati's history I think they should be checking him into a shrinks clinic.

Custers last stand

Surely the loopy American civil war general is more indicative of your own stance Wosi. Now you had to know this was coming. I was talking about 3,3,3,2,3 on the trot beofre the winning started.

Nobody's denying the RCV is a superior machine sunshine. I'm merely saying Rossi isn't doing the thing, or his reputation justice. The man's been proven to be one dimensional - a one trick pony, and not the omnipotent being sections of the media and you would have people believe.
