Injury rules Bradley Smith out of Sepang Moto2 race

British rider Bradley Smith has been ruled out of Sunday’s Malaysian Moto2 Grand Prix after being hospitalised following a huge crash in this morning’s opening practice session. The Tech 3 Racing Team rider was one of four riders to crash after a heavy rain shower soaked Turn 10 right at the start of the 45-minute session. Jules Cluzel was the first rider...

Unlucky for brad

It sounds like this could have been avoided. Pity for him and us fans. Hopefully he will recover fully ASAP. Fingers crossed that redding can give us uk fans something to cheer about come the race.

Sleepy or poor marshalling can lead to disaster.... sounds like he got away very lucky. Marshalls really have the toughest job when a circuit is "live" and there always has to be eyes on the circuit. I am sure many countries could use advice and training from some of the worlds finest... our own marshalls here in the UK. Get well soon Bradder's!

I was watching it last night

And it was hairy. Marquez' high side was pretty bad and knocked the crap out of him - took him a while to get up, Then Bradley came into the gravel and hit Marquez' bike (liikes like the rear tire & bottom of Marquez' bike is where he hit) with his chest and shoulder before they red flagged it.

get well lad

Well that's shite. Feel bad for Smith, seems a nice kid and very down to earth. He's worked damn hard this season. Hope he's back for the season finale. Haven't seen the crash but sounds like the marshals have a lot to answer for. Hope the other crashers aren't too beat up and can all race hard tomorrow. Moto2 has been great again this year and needs more coverage. For my money easily one of the most exciting classes out there. If the gp class can replicate even half of the success of Moto2 with the crt rules it we could be in for another golden age of bike racing and I for one can't wait for smith to be a part of that
