Ducati happy with testing rule boost

New testing regulations for MotoGP will help Ducati try and bridge the gap to Japanese rivals Honda and Yamaha, according to the Bologna factory’s technical guru Filippo Preziosi. MotoGP bosses have relaxed the testing restrictions for next year, meaning Ducati can use Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden much more to develop the new GP12 1000cc machine. Ducati can use Rossi as often...

Maybe the fact that Vales season has been pants/embarrassing/chronic/pitiful/pathetic/woeful/laughable (delete as appropriate) has brought out the worst in his fanboys thus leading to many column inches being filled here.

I don't care that Stoner is unlikely to match Vales record. I just care that my 'fave' rider for the past few years is the WC 2011. Merry Christmas :)

I've been looking everywhere for info on Suzuki since Fridaqy was the deadline and haven't seen a word about it. I'd guess that they are still in some type of talks with Dorna.

If they don't come back, it looks like WSBK could gain another GP refugee since DePuniet is without a ride unless he wants to go the CRT route. As a racer I think getting a competitive WSBK ride easily outsells riding a CRT bike and never having a shot at a win or podium.

Where are the investigative reporters when you need them?

Instead of rehashing old news why hasn't some journo put a piece together regarding Suzuki's dithering and failure to commit to anything?

I have just realized that the thing holding Rossi back is his colour scheme, everyone knows that anything painted red will go faster, so it stands to reason that getting rid of the yellow and replacing it with red will do the trick.
