Lorenzo boss: ‘Casey Stoner took Honda to another level’

The talent of Casey Stoner lifted the performance of Honda’s factory RC212V machine to a new level in 2011, according to Jorge Lorenzo’s Yamaha boss Wilco Zeelenberg. Zeelenberg reckons Honda’s 2011 bike changed very little from the RC212V that ended the 2010 campaign but it was the Australian’s skill and raw speed that made the HRC contender the dominant force last...

exaggeration

Seriously i don't think Casey took Honda to new level. The fact is that yamaha didn't get their bike to the mark , it was same as of 2010 where Rossi left. it shows how much poor JL is in developing(And shows Void left BY VR & Masao Furusawa). In the case of Dani Pedrosa , he was injured half the season ,we can't take in to account about his performance even though he won which is remarkable. Dovi in my point had advantage of the bike.. he is not got that spark like top riders have.. he will be with 2nd grid riders. he was lucky to wrap up 3rd with lots of situation favoring him. And for ducati ,, it was the worse season for them. So all this abt CS taking honda is just exaggeration. No doubt he is exceptional rider. Next Season will tell if he really did take honda to the limits.

You're probably right, I mean what the hell do people who live and work the GP paddock know about Stoner's talent? They obviously need to sign you up - it would appear you have all the answers!...

I guess i do,  looking at  Hondas 800 era performance kinda backs it up would'nt you say? Sorry, i guess you would'nt!

I remember Stoner beating JL when he was on the Duke. I guess that JL beating Vale 'on equal terms' is still grating you on top of Vales performance this season. Oh well.

No difference.

His talent made the difference and I knew from pre season Stoner on that Honda will be a very scary thought for the rest and it proved as he won his second championship.

No suprise to me

Just like i mention at the end of the season last year. Casey on the honda is scary. I even admit that casey is the one to beat on 2011 and not Jorge even though he have the crown.

Reality Deniers & Fantasists still abound ...

Ahhh... I see the Casey Stoner deniers and Rossi apologists are still around - still ignoring all evidence and fact. Expect Stoner to " Threepeat " in 2012 too, girls ...

Talking fact & rationality here on MCN only ever gets people abused and demeaned by those Zombies incapable of stringing any more than two false concepts together - so - let's quote someone that you just might "like & respect " when it comes to the facts & recognition of Casey Stoner's awesome abilities and total domination of all comers in 2011 ...

“Aw man, that is just what we didn’t need, lemme tell ya. I mean, at least [when he was] on the Ducati, you knew you had a good chance at certain tracks where that bike didn’t go so well. Casey on a bike like the Honda, that he can get to do what he wants it to do? We might be in for a long season next year.” –Colin Edwards in 2010, when he learned that Casey Stoner had signed with Honda for 2011

and

Colin Edwards in late 2011 on, who is the best in MotoGP? : “ Stoner and Lorenzo. I just think everyone’s lucky Stoner was on a Ducati for the last few years. He rides the shit out of that Honda ....”

Cheers
