lightweight helmets

I would high recommend Nexx helmets
http://www.nexx-helmets.com/lifestyle/default.aspx#

they do a full carbon fibre helmet for £299 its a very good helmet.

I went for the for slightly cheaper Xr1r cafe racer paint design helmet
http://www.nexx-helmets.com/products/default.aspx?idioma=pt1&idcont=21&title=cafe-racer

they also have many other styles but with the same basic shell.
I've had mine for about 6 months now and not had a problem with it, its very very comfortable, has a huge field of vision from the visor, one which no other helmet I have tried can match.
the liner is removable and in the box is a pack of extra pads to get the right fit, the helmet also comes with a pinlock visor thrown in to. and all this for £199! I got a dark visor to which is well worth the extra.

Yeah its not got the arai logo on the side, but there are enough styles to choose from and for the amount of features you get on it, why shell out more for a more well know brand?

thats where I ordered mine from, the bloke who runs it is spot on. yeah you cant try it before you buy it, but measure your head exactly and the sizing guide wont be wrong, plus if it doesnt fit there shouldnt be to much of an issue to change it.

Hopefully thats useful for ya!

Try HJC FG-15 (I think) from Lidsdirect.com.  I got one for under 200 quid in the summer, good comfortable lid, relatively quiet, but as you know, depends on the shape of your noggin
