Chain lube and anti corrosion

Hello all,

This will probably be a rather silly question to anyone who's been biking a while but I've only had a bike since october having passed my test in may so defs still learning the ropes!

When is best to put on chain lube and anti-corrosion stuff on? before or after a ride? every xxx miles? With anti-corrosion I presume its best to put it on a cleaned bike?

All help greatly appreciated!

Doesn't so much

prevent the 'bead blasting'...never really thought of that bit. However, I do have an extended mud guard at the front, but, yeah - that front bit tends to pick up tar more than anything.

PTFE spray

I really like the dry PTFE  spray. It doesn't pick up any dust or grit.
