Ducati cagey on GP12 changes

Ducati technical guru Filippo Preziosi did a great job of revealing very little about the radical new GP12 Desmosedici that Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will debut when winter testing kicks off at the Sepang track in Malaysia on January 31. In a press conference that lasted close to an hour at Ducati’s 2012 launch at the Madonna di Campiglio ski...

quite right ChupaChump

The  Ducati has been a failure all along really.
Yes we know Stoner managed to ride over the problems of the flawed machine but he and he only is the only one to do so in the recent seasons.
Therefore it is obvious to any unbiased person that there needs to be big changes.
Especially after last season when the expertise of Burgess and Rossi could do nothing with the bike.
Nobody could have sorted that bike,it was a flawed machine and that is why the new bike is 90% new.
Now they will have the necessary adjustments to change the bike so it is rideable and hopefully a winner.

So Ducati have now confirmed they dont know what is required to build a moto gp bike that their riders need. They are building in more adjustment with the hope of their riders eventually finding the right set-up.

I doubt Honda and Yamaha have as much adjustment in their bikes- or let their riders move things too much from where the factory designed it be be. Because they have initially designed a bike in the ball park that works.

Honda are renowned for hardly changing the set-up of their bikes from race to race.

Honda brought five different fames to one test last year never mind the other bits.,, they do it as much as anyone, it's just they've been working on theirs for 5 years, Ducati for 3 months... you have to be realistic. Stoners bike should never have been signed off in the first place a more experienced rider wouldn't have no slight on Casey he was a young lad at the time.., only one rider going ok and him going off the ball rapidly add to that ducati's own admission that they didn't understand it.. doomed from the off.. More conventional layout is what Rossi and Jb cut their teeth on.. They'll make huge steps with the adjustability they understand. But when all's said and done Presiozi has never built one of theses before he's bang on building as much adjustability in as poss. Ducati/Rossi do better than last year?? where can I get odds??

Looks like the

White panty brigade is staining their crack with nasty brown stains as they continue to get leaked information that Valentino Rossi and JB have gotten Ducati to build a real racers bike similar to the RCV and M1 that they know and have so much info and experience about.

The milky panty brigade knows that Rossi roughed up Milky boy in 2008 with a simple tire change to counter his unfair advantage in speed and tire grip. The shit pig left by milky boy is rightfully being sent to the latrine. Now the milky panty brigade is staining themselves, knowing that the false propaganda they are spreading about Rossi being inept, is about to be shown the door.

They are quivering in their boots same as milky boy used to do when he lined up next to Rossi, especially knowing his unfair advantage is going to equalized and a revisit of 2008 and 2009 is inevitable. Those years made him shit himself thoroughly and the milky white panty brigade know what is about to happen.

Bring on the 2012 season. Can't wait for Sepang.

If there was an award for irony the above line would get it.

Preziosi's interview was revealing in it's opaqueness and I like the way he left the narrow v question floating around for people to play with. I think rolling the v back is the first option to try and see where they go from there. There's a lot to get right in not much time that's for sure.

Beautifully put Milky Bars, lol...

I wish I had your confidence as there were a few false dawns last season but giving Vale a bike with a decent front end can't do any harm and might even inject some excitement back into MotoGP.

Stoner is Rossi beater

I'm so glad about this whole Rossi situation. The guy totally deserved everything what was happend to him in 2011. I remeber all his talks from 2007 to 2010, it's incrediblle how Stoner has maneged to stay on top especially because everything was against him. Bravo Casey! Stats from 2007 to 2011 proves enough, at least to me. Stoner is ahead of Rossi in everything, exept titles. If Stoner doesen't beat Rossi in 2012, Lorenzo will, or Pedrosa, or Spies...it doesen matter, he is finished.

Milkybars ...

Your ridiculous hairy chest thumping on behalf of your idol and rather odd fetish for underwear and pooh stains etc does you no credit. Who do you think you are eitehr impressing or fooling with this abject nonsense? You come off like an absolute beetroot head and spittle sprayer - a wanker of the First Order.

I think you need to go to U-Tube and view John Cleese as the Black Knight versus King Arthur. This will help give you a perspective on just how infantile & empty your jumping up & down and raving really is.

C'mon Milky - its only a flesh wound! go for it, OK?

As i often say to my son,Casey, and my young daughter,Valentina,it`s what you do and not what you say, that really matter`s.Ofcourse, it`s better if the two thing`s bear some resemblance to each other ! And,let`s face it,pretty much every-thing you say, bear`s no resemlance to the reality of what has actually happened. You make Wosi look measured and almost normal ! I rest my case.
