No doubt...No.27

No doubt...casey stoner put the show and no one can catch him...First time in the bike with other 3 factory hondas is very impressive, without any knowledge in any track with his new bike is something that very hard to do. And what a finished in last round in valencia. He deserves the title unless the haters will start to moan about his performance last year.

Should of

Should of been able to vote for Michael Dunlop, he's shown that he can also be aggressive but also smooth and smart!

@fattybatter agree with BSB being where you get to see a proper race (for all MotoGP fans, do your self a favour and pick up the BSB 2011 DVD and see some real racing) but that is what Marco brought to MotoGP.

The guy just looked liked he loved it, even when he DNF almost every sodding race.

How many time did you scream at the TV, shouting at him to take it easy and accept 3rd and get a podium only for him to cain it and fall off at the next corner.

He rode it like he stole it every single time and that is why he should get man of the year

All this and he was only 24, the other guys will their chance next year but Marco wont   :'(

Off subject slightly...BSB

fatttybatter is right. Kind of going slightly off topi but................

if you were to look at the most exciting races / championship BSB would win hands down surely?. WSBK is better than motogp but i think BSB is better again than WSBK.

My idea of doing some WSBK races is out, i will trade them off for a few BSB races instead, good idea.

(not writing off gp or wsbk but BSB has it going on, bigtime! )

Heart & Head say #Super_Sic...

He was a World Champion...

& if you follow the Stats & how the Bookies work out their probabilities...

he was 'on course' to be MotoGP World Champion, one day...

He breathed life back into MotoGP & his sad loss has left a void which the current riders can't fill.

Like Rossi & Stoner before him; he'd been pushing hard & learning both his & the MotoGP bike's boundaries the hard way. He'd been close & getting closer all last season. He'd ruffled several feathers but won the admiration of the fans with his attitude of never settling for 3rd-5th place...

He finally had his 'epihany' & we all saw him on the podium' where he belonged & where we now expected to see him every week...

Then, in front of a worldwide tv audience, we saw him tragically taken from his family, friends.

The World's Motorcycling Community were stunned & the brightest light in motorcycling was snuffed out.

RIP Super Sic

Yup.  No-brainer for me.  tiamo69 sums it up pretty darn good.  It was never a matter of "if". . . . It was always "when"

I feel gutted and robbed, and I ain't the emotional type.  So,  Simmo for me, Dudes.

man of the year

With any doubt is not about result but panache. Therefore Marco Simoncelli has score every point to become man of the year. Other trophy: Best scary rider: Michael Dunlop. Best TT rider: John McGuiness Best TT challenger: cup of tea man ;-) The TT is where the heroes prove themselves.

Tommy Hill!!

With total respect for all the names on the list....including Marco (RIP)...my vote goes to Tommy Hill - he's made as many sacrifices, if not more, than the others and he's fought so hard, year after year to finally win the BSB Championship - he's a top bloke as well!   There's at least 4 on that list could easily be considered Man of the Year...but Tommy gave so many outstanding rides to win and that makes him my choice...
