Derbi gpr50 2002

I have just had a phone call off my sister who has bought my nephew his first road bike as he is 16 this spring. Not knowing a great deal about bikes she has bought cheap a Derbi GPR50 2002 sold as seen and was told the starter motor didn't work. Thinking that would be ok as her fella is an auto electrician she left thiking she had a good deal. On closer inspection the starter was not so much unservicable but missing all together. they have had no responce from the seller and are now trying to source a replacment. so far they have only found new ones available at over 600 quid ( more than the bike). does anyone now where these parts are available second hand.

Don't know your location

but google (or Yellow Pages) under bike breakers or motorcycle breakers.

There is a company that have a national database of breakers and parts, Partfinder they're called if memory serves.
