Video: 2012 Kawasaki ZZR1400 flat out

Want to know how fast Kawasaki’s new ZZR1400 is? Check out the on board video as MCN road tester Adam Child holds it flat out around Nardo’s test facility in southern Italy. Adam pushes the new ZZR to its limit around the 12.5km circular test track, holding it flat in top gear. Check out next week’s MCN, out January 25 for the...

I'm not surprised...

that they geared the bike to almost max revs at the 300km/h limit, why not? The bike is restricted to 300km/h so one may as well take the fastest route to there. Its up to the owners of these to change sprockets, etc. when derestricting for more top end. Kawa boys have just geared their bike perfectly for what its top speed from the factory is suppsed to be, makes total sense, even though it means I'll have to spend some extra cash on making it faster! Still, getting to the restrictor will be faster than any other production bike in existence and let's face it - the most fun is getting there!

Awesome!!!

Having owned all the latest and fastest bikes out there. This bike sets the bar high not only in terms of power but comfort and practicality. I recently purchased the zx14r here in the states and all I can say is holy f',&@. This thing puts my modded 2008 busa to shame in every aspect. Don't take my word for it go and demo one... Bring your checkbook you'll need it.
