1000cc switch to help Ben Spies

Yamaha expects the introduction of the new 1000cc MotoGP class to help American rider Ben Spies mount a challenge for more victories in 2012. The Texan’s factory Yamaha team boss Massimo Meregalli believes the style required to ride the new generation 1000s will favour Spies, who won the World Superbike title for the Japanese factory back in 2009. Respect

If you guys from the USA want rtespect for your riders, show some respect for the competition.

Dovi's record is pretty good in moto GP and has been the only guy to consistently break into the top three for the last three seasons, Thats fact not fiction

spies in the last two years has done similar but not as often, but with an all important win this year.

this only highlights just how good the leading three riders are and how good a rider is going to have to be to break that trio up.

J:lo, stoner,   Pedrosa rossi , dovi and Spies are the top six riders in the world at the moment and they all should have a factory seat.

Haydens a nice guy but his record from 2007 onwards is poor for someone who keeps a factory seat year in year out.

Sadly, the same respect was not afforded to Dovi who beat him by over 50 points in the championship last year.

As GYTR found out to his cost, some actions call for tough love ............
