Sepang test: Jorge Lorenzo leads first session

Jorge Lorenzo might not have ridden a MotoGP bike since October 16, but he returned to action in impressive fashion today to top the opening day timesheets at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. The Spaniard was back on board a MotoGP bike for the first time since his 2011 campaign was ended prematurely when he lost 8mm off the tip of...

I have watched Motorcycle GP racing since 1985 and all other forms of motorcycle racing I have also raced motorcycles myself not at such a high level but then again I had to go to work and buy my own motorcycles, and my work is a sports coach and qualified in sports injury, and not as you think a newby. I like anyone on this forum am entitled to my opinion without having arseholes bad mouthing my character coming to your own conclusions that I must be a 17 year old and green behind the ears. I believe that Stoner missing the first day of testing is highly dubious I can think that to injure yourself while stretching (excluding dynamic) is a hard thing to achieve scar tissue or not, and lets not forget these riders no matter how injured have access to the best medical care in sport. I am not a Stoner hater never have been but compared to a guy like Doohan he is mentally fragile, that also does not mean that he is not brave. If you want to say something say it with some respect as not matter how intelligent you think you are it does not mean you know who I am.

Given this experience Pinky

I would've thought you'd know better than to spout the utter baseless bollocks you did and then just label it as 'iffy'.

Well and truly owned!!!

Good on you Pinkerton. These pair of Stoner fan boys should start enjoying the racing and stop just following one rider... I do believe it is clouding their judgement!

Depends which muscle...

Stoner was yanking before the first session started - his misses isn't there and 'when the cats away'...

+0.7 for the first outing on the Duke is a nice sign but waaay to early to call.
VR was quoted in Gazzetto dello Sport 'this is a fun bike to ride' - seems they could have hot a good base point from which to develop a bike that can win - nice one Prezious!

Even par first day

Pretty much as expected. The usual suspects and CRT woefull. Cal deserves mention. Good going by Yamaha all round. Ducati have found an extra 1 second in the bike and last half a second will have to come from Rossi. I hope he does. Title chase 2012 needs the spectacle. Casey, well, contrary to to what pinkerton 2964 is saying:

With all due respect Sir,I have no need to publish my memoirs, but I like many I have also had the odd off day when the Devil fooled with the best laid plans.

Lets hope tomorrow gives us opportunity to see times tumble and a picture start to emerge for 2012,Casey Stoner included.

How little you know

Judge Dredd. Mumbling nonsense with all the eloquence of Sylvester Stallone.

Don't worry about nostr and aquar

They only take their heads out of their backsides long enough to spout long drawn out boring 'opinions' on this ere forum. Shame stoner was not there today. Great to see cal up there and maybe Rossi has a better bike this year.

Hey - don't knock Sly..!

Sly Stallone is a surprisingly intelligent and eloquent guy - Rocky is entirely his creation - writing them all and directing most of them - just identified his niche and made millions out of it.  I mean -  the guy was born with some facial paralysis, giving him his slurring speech - he wasn't going to do Shakespeare was he?  (Granted.. Judge Dredd was somewhat of a mistake.. but still.. we all make them!)

the only thing dubious is your reasoning pinky

As you say these riders have access to the top medical care in sport. They also make use of some of the top physical trainers, who most likely are aware that dynamic stretching has been shown to be more beneficial prior to aerobic exercise. And where did you get the "mentally fragile" bit from? Watching that execrable move "Fastest" perhaps? The best thing about that movie was the timing of its release.
