Alvaro Bautista impressed with Honda electronics

Alvaro Bautista reckons Honda’s electronics are so well advanced that when he made his RC213V 1000cc debut in Sepang last week he felt slower than Suzuki’s 800! The Spaniard finished ninth with a best time 2.01.384 that left him less than half-a-second from the top six. The Gresini Honda rider said: “The electronics are absolutely incredible. My feeling on the first two...

Fuck me, things got a little heated here eh? I'm not going to get involved but I do think it could have been worded a little better.. 'The dead one'? 'Simoncelli' would have done. FRR, I'm in, although Laverty and Melandri have taken a big chunk out of the budget. I can see why we are picking the riders we like, but I can also think of reasons to put up teans we think will do well. Would be nice to see who knows their stuff n'all. No changes. . Great idea. Oh, whoever has Rossi in their team... Unlucky :)

I wouldn't even have Rossi on my team stick with the two Americans Hayden and Spies.

Well what else would we call him?

No doubt he will be MCN man of the year his results didn't even warrant him being on the voting list, yes he made the voting list only because he died so "the dead one" seems completely appropriate.

"Dead One"

you know, I think it was all faked for the ratings, MotoGP getting a bit dull, fake a death, bit of prime time, more tourist euros in the pocket of the commune, rename the circuit (or not) and heaps of accolades.

I read an interview with Passini a few weeks back, the last question was about Sic.
His reply was great 'I'm sorry but there has been too much talk of Marco now, I would rather remember him by staying silent'. Ironically the following page included pictures of Sics father at another sporting event celebrating his sons life.

Anyways, he's not dead...

HRC Electronics

Al appears to be happy as he should be. To be fair,I've never seen him look anything other than happy even with a bust leg. Stepping into Marco's place at Gresini is perhaps a tough ask on an emotional front.

For Bautista, definitely not ! The bloke has finally got the gap he needed to break on through to the other side. How he runs with it is as ever open to debate. Expect him to fire in many a surprise podium this year.

If Suzuki had stayed on and signed Randy he would have been interesting to watch on the GSV-R battling for a top six finish.

But

Was RdP's time at the Valencia test a result of the improved 2012 spec Bridgestones which help the bikes work better and provide more feel?

to come close to the time set by Bautista in qualification after AB had tew years experience ont he bike, verses the 2 hours experience of RdP is a mighty impressive task.
