Chris Walker back on Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki

Chris Walker is back in the Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki BSB team. Walker was re-instated after the team was completely restructured on Monday following the news last week that original team owner Dan Cheevers had been arrested on a drugs charge. Walker is a crowd pleaser (and probably gets sponsors on board) but surely it would be better to get a younger 'up and coming' rider rather than keep Chris racing.  Nice bloke but past his best by a long way now.

Maybe the new rules will favour him but even then the bike isn't a winner.

Chris. Glad to see you'll be racing again this year. You always give it your all. You still draw the crowds in!

Great to see Stalker back

Have been a massive fan since the late 90's.  By far the best rider never to win the championship.

All a bit weird given that Pr1mo announced him as a rider in Nov 2011

before dumping him in Dec 2011

Haga in BSB

As an aside, it seems that Haga, unable to get another ride in WSBK this year, is likely to accept a last minute offer to ride the SWAN Yamaha after  Hutchinson broke his leg (as reported in In the same article it also mentions that Scassa, ex supersonic ducati rider and chaz davies' team mate last year in supersports, is also considering an offer to join BSB, along with Ant West who aparently is considering a number of offers after hi ART ride in MotoGp fell through??? its in Italian but there is a google translate option top right hand of page
