New Exhaust pics & Dyno run

As some may know Ive recently fitted an exhaust from SP Engineering. It was really easy to fit and can't fault the quality of it. Especially for the price! Would definitely recommend them!

Took the bike to TorqueTune today to make sure it was running right. Really nice blokes. Said its fine but could be made better with a power commander.

Turns out the DB killer restricts it so much it looses 5bhp with it fitted! Think ill be leaving that off then!

fueling

Thanks for the comments! No adjustments were made due to not having a power commander. He said its a little lean at low revs but from 5k rpm onwards its about right. He could sort that with a power commander though. Thats another thing on the list now!:smile

CAT

Is it true you can take the cat out and it will still pass its MOT? Is it legal?

Takin out the cat

Is not illegal but i would be surprised if it would pass an mot coz the emissions would be all over the place

Sounds like alot of hassle for a very small return  :ph43r:

:doubt:

New Exhaust

The new can looks good.  What solution did you find to deal with removing the exhaust valve??

cat

bikes do not currently get tested on emissions but they could introduce it on newer machines

i have heard of cars that have been de catted and still pass the emissions though suppose it just depends on the emissions coming from the particular engine?
