Ducati 848 Stolen from Westfield, Shepherds Bush

I have recently had a Ducati 848 Evo stolen from the car park in the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherds Bush, London. The bike was parked in the main car park by the barriers where all the other bike are.

From the CCTV the Police said that two white men pulled up on what looked like a black Triumph Speed Triple. The men has helmets on and wore tracksuits. One guy got on my bike and snapped the steering lock using brute force. They then pushed my bike down the exit ramp. The guy on the Speed Triple then pushed the guy on my Ducati using his foot. They went North up the Wood Lane past the Westway where the CCTV lost them. They could not get an image on the numberplate despite all that CCTV.

Do be aware when parking at Westfield. Even though there is more CCTV than you can imagine and number plate recognition at the entrance barriers. Westfield are not too bothered about motorbike security.

I feel your pain. ! I am looking at the 848 Evo Corse SE now, however my once great insurance premium is not so great after the theft.

Sorry to hear about your theft. The shopping centre rang a bell as in the news recently.

Did you have a chain on it???

I wouldn't leave my old K1 GSXR in there without a chain.. or anywhere else in London for that matter.. Let alone an 848..

Hope you find it mate!
