GSX-R750 FI light

I have the red FI light on permanently on my K9 gsx-r 750. I have put it into dealer mode and got the code C00 which apparently means no fault. When I turn the ignition off then back on though it is still showing FI with the red light. The bike is completely standard. Any ideas on how to reset the light or what the problem could be?

FI light

Check the main connections into the CDI/ECU. I think they need a clean up.

i had the same thing

with my k7 thou, all i done was make sure the exhaust valve was free.......then disconnect the battery for 10 mins and then touch both battery terminal leads........this should reset the ecu and also gets any static out of it, once done reconnect the battery and start the bike.......waallaa your problem should be gone:wink::biggrin:

1,000,000 thankyou's

Ally600 thanks for the advice. The exhaust valve was seized. Just gave it a clean and some lube and the FI code has gone. I've got next week off work so was dreading the bike being in the garage all week. No longer though!! Cheers:biggrin::biggrin:
