Cal Crutchlow ends pre-season in style with fantastic fifth

Cal Crutchlow will head to the first race of the new 1000cc MotoGP era in Qatar next month brimming with confidence after he ended the pre-season testing schedule with the fifth fastest time in Jerez. The British rider’s stunning winter testing form continued when a quickest lap of 1.39.585 put him ahead of Valentino Rossi and Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team-mate...

LMAO at

Benny Hill....Spies was a 3 time AMA WC, 1 time WSBK WC (In his Rookie year too), and Motogp Rookie of the year with a Pole, 2 podiums, placing 6th.

Compare the Brit Apeman and you get a local backyard BSB wc and WSS wc, a failure in WSBK (5th place), and Rookie of the year in Motogp (12th place, 1 podium), FAIL.

Why should Spies worry about the talent level from any Brit, when apeman is their best at the moment?

Who is coming to Motogp next year.....Little Ginger, Marc Marquez and maybe Andrea Iannone.  Who will be demoted for them.....a Brit (Apeman) so far, Pirro and perhaps Hector Barbera.

Spies have nothing to fear except politics....he brought honor to Tech 3 and Yamaha. Yamaha's only WSBK WC, comes from one named Ben the Predator Spies, and yes he beat all the Aliens thus far. With pole and races. There are NOT MANY, NONE, NADA, riders out there with that on their resume, except the Aliens themselves. Dovi has 1 pole and 1 win in his 4 years in Motogp, with an additional 6 years of track experience/knowledge, 10 years LMAO. Spies needed only 2 years and you guys want to make a comparison.

Sorry Ben blew that away already. Been there done that, better things ahead....next on the check list. LOL. LOL    Oh my, Oh my!!!

Milky Crutchlow got zero podiums last year. I aint the one making comparisons its these fools not giving Spies any credit for what he has done in MotoGP in a short amount of time.

You are correct

which makes him fall into a category for dis-qualification for any trophy earned in Motogp. You must at least sip or spray a bottle of that liquid stuff up on the podium.

That must have been disgraceful to the Brits that he got the Rookie of the year. Well thats what happens when someone is given a position that's not deserving. They cannot perform up to the level required.

Hope the season goes well for Ben and Cal, despite reading the drivel written below.  Personally neither of these two will win the moto gp world championship, unless Stoner and Lorenzo and a lot of others write themselves off.  Ben will get some podiums and a few race wins to boot, but that's it for this season IMO, Cal can hope for a top six finish by the end of the season at best.

These guys are both world champions in their own right and the WSS boys are still a little quicker than the Moto2 guys...so respect to Cal, and also to Ben to grab a WSBK at the first attempt great stuff.

Let's hope for a close season and not a Stoner show.

If any of you guys below...think you can outride Crutchlow, please let his team manager know and maybe they'll employ another pair of disqualifiers...boy you two must be fast?!
