Poll: Will Rossi win again with Ducati?

Ducati's yoyo fortunes continue, with a disappointing sixth fastest for Rossi at the latest Jerez test, but trust in the Desmosedici's front end on the grow, according to Rossi. So if you had to bet a year's salary on it now,  how would you place it? Tell us your thoughts on how you think the Rossi saga's going to end below....

SELECTIVE MEMORY.

Why did Rossi leave Yamaha ?  Oh thats right,`cos he knew he couldn`t beat Lorezo on the same  bike. Why didn`t he go to Honda ?  Oh that`s right,`cos they didn`t want him. Why did he go to Ducati ?   Oh that`s right,`cos Stoner kept winning on it,and he "knew" he was much better than him.      Like Iv`e said before,it wouldn`t matter a toss what he rode, the rest have moved on and he most definitely can`t. 5th.....     get used to it.

Nev he left Yamaha because he was unhappy with having Lorenzo as a team-mate the problem with Rossi is he does not like team-mates who become a threat to him.

better not help him or he would attack other people with lots excuse / moaning. he just trying to find another excuses for the lost he would get in race. if hayden contract not extend, i'm sure he would kick that so call 9 times ass LUCKY WC. no more team order. LOL.

Personally I believe Rossi's racing instinct is way beyond that of Stoner and on par with Lorenzo. Will he win again.... possible, but it'll mean everyone falling off to get it. No one loses their skills and instinct in a couple of seasons impossible but at the same time I can't believe the people at Ducati are so blinkered in their design for a bike that they'd risk another shitty bike design. I'm more inclined to believe Ducati don't, and won't, listen. But at the same time I also believe Rossi wants his Ducati to be a Yamaha. They believe there way of designing a bike is best. I think Ducati should apologise to Marco Melanddri for when he was with Ducati.

Maybe

He's lost nothing.

Just that other riders appeared in 2007/8 who were just as good, at least his equal.. One spent years on a bike that was very difficult to ride but won many races on it, the other spent the usual first season acclimatising (on 'crap' Michelins) and then in the second year began beating him on the same bike/tyres before winning the title the following year.

In 2011, Both 'new' riders are on competitive bikes and finish 1 - 2 in the championship with Rossi dropping down the order in the same manner that many other riders have when they can't get on with the bike they're riding.

So maybe he's lost nothing, just that the competition that are at least his equal have bikes that they can ride to their full potential and he is now on a bike that he cannot get the best out of, or, is unable to ride to his full potential. Whichever is irrelavent, it has demonstrated that he is unable to ride around problems that for years many claimed he could. All that has happened is the situation from previous years, when he had a bike under him that did exactly what he wanted whilst others had a bike that they had to ride around problems on, has now reversed . It's the way it's always been in racing, the only thing that isn't constant is the riders that have the kit and those that don't.

Put them all on the same bike and the outcome would be interesting.

As for the 42% that voted I reckon most of them know more about tiddlywinks than bike racing!
