MV Agusta F3 vs rivals at a glance

MV Agusta's new F3 is one of the most eagerly awaited bikes of 2012, but since its launch storm clouds have been gathering. Is the beautiful Italian simply too track-focused and rough around the edges to be a decent road bike and compete with the competition? MCN's world first test pitted the MV Agusta against its hottest rivals - the Triumph...

On Specs

Based on specs the F3 looks like the bike to beat but not everyone is buying these bikes for the track so in realistic all day every day use the gsxr is a clear winner for me .. Where is the ZX6r in this test ?:ph43r:

The tests by various experts are all reporting the same fault. I will be amazed if MV do not sought out the problem before the bikes are released in this country.

Having said that, surely it should have been done before, therefore avoiding the bad press that the bike has been given. The reviews could certainly put off potential buyers, unless they have the opportunity to ride before purchasing.

what?

so the two dominant bikes in WSS (honda and kawasaki) arent even worthy of a 'at a glance' test?

MV have never been top of the sales charts and probably never will, they are bought for prestige and to admire, so this comparison does not suprise.

The bikes launch should have been delayed until the fueling was fixed, or maybe they could not sort it? All this adverse publicity cannot be doing the bike and company any good even if it is drop dead gorgeous to look at.

bob and potters

boys you remember the first runnout ones off the line if you sat inside one and listened very hard you could hear them rusting  slamb the door and it could fall off and say the word rain and all the electrics went out on strike lol

but the second runout was a great car

give MV the next runnout and a bit of feed back from owners and you will have a great bike

lets be honest trumpies first speed trip and the 675 wernt that good  and the GSXR.CBR 600 and the R6 first ones wer piss poor  and the kwak was not a match for these bikes but its still a good bike and sells well

on the mv site a couple of guys have the new F3 and admit it has a few little probs and they wonder what bikes mcn where riding
