Stuart Garner and the engineers at Norton have been so focused on getting their new V4 racer built to compete at the Isle of Man TT (See the April 18 issue of MCN), that they met our question - 'What are you going to call it?' - with blank looks. Well the best of luck to them! As for a name, this task that they have set themselves will require "bravary" "determination" and it will be "difficult" Most will give them "little or no chance or hope" There is a word that epitomises the the way we deal with these things, the word is "Valiant" Therefore my suggestion for the name is, "Norton V4 Valiant"

It means to be "Brave and Determined when things are difficult" That also sums up the way you have to ride TT. The best of luck and go for it.
