Schubert S2

I know Schubert lids are reknowned for being well built and generally quiet but they're not overtly stylish and they are somewhat pricey. Not sure this will be a big seller primarily because its not a well known brand, has little high profile pedigree and it does carry a premium price tag.

Schuberth S1/Pro - good lid but needed this updating

I've been holding off replacing my S1 so I could try this first.  Pleased I got the S1. IMHO it has similar build quality to Arai and Shoei but better than lids that look more sytlish (to me) such as Shark, AGV, Nexx etc.  Pinlock visor and internal sun visor are big plus points for me.  Hopefully the ventilation and aerodynamics on the S2 are improved.  Not interested in the Bluetooth integration (but I suppose I would be if I could ever manage to go touring.)

Schuberth Helmets

After having been side-swiped at a roudabout and landing straight on my head I am convinced my R1 saved either my life or my ability to walk. Stylish my arse,  I will spend my money where it counts thank you very much. I will be buying an S2 and damn the expense.

SHARP

If you are concerned with safety, narrow your list down to 5-star SHARP rated lids, then choose by fit, features, style and price.

Sharp

Thanks for the info. Surprised to see my old R1 only warranted 2 stars. I will be interested to see how the S2 scores.
