Helmet review: Shoei XR1000

Brilliant XR1000 0 XR1100

Wouldn't wear anything else. Super comfy, fits brilliantly. The XR1100 is actually lighter than the X12 race version. Quality quality quality. Have worn shoei for I think its more than 20 years now. Shoei used to be way expensive but their prices have come down heaps due to competion.

Shoei is top

I love my XR1000, the visor mechanism is so simple. I also have an Arai RX7GP and the visor mechanism is so dodgy I dare not remove the tinted visor so I use my Shoei when I need a clear visor. The Arai interior materials seem a little nicer than Shoei but I doubt I'd buy an Arai again, too noisy and poor visor system.

You'll not regret buying a Shoei.
