Poll: Which racer had the best helmet design?

Bike racers aren't known for their taste, over the years we've had everything from donkey ears to dart boards daubed on helmets. But there are a few classic designs that have remained as fresh as the day they were dreamt up. Here's our shortlist, you pick the winner   pollcomment

I own 3 Colin Edwards Rep arai's and his orange and yellow design from his castrol honda wsb days always stood out for me. It was so recognisable from the side of the track. I love my number 5 white valencia yamaha 50th Anniversary speed block design too. Nori Haga has always had some cool designs and John Kozinski's arai blue and yellow eagle was a cracking looking lid too

your point?

Whose idea was it to do a poll like this? Come on MCN. Does it occur to you that different people might think different designs to be best? When the poll is finished, you will then proclaim the official best design and i expect everyone should then accept it because it won in a poll ! What I lot of nonsense. I must say, though, I really noticed the new look MCN paper. Well done all you involved, it looks great and the write ups seems to have improved, too. Don`t be afraid of a little humour and tongue in cheek.
