Burgman Fault Code

Hi. Please help, I have a Suzuki Burgman 200cc. 11reg and only 3650 miles. The problem is that the F1 light keeps coming on occasionally when i first start, but if you turn the engine off and restart its ok. The last 2 days the engine would just cut out as i stop for a junction or give an eratic tickover. When i got home tonight and turned the ignition on to put the bike away its showing a code 2516 on the clocks. I,m going to get the bike booked into a Suzuki main dealers near where i work, but does anyone know what this code means. Many thanks Ginnelli.

Can't

Help you there Ginnelli, you might want to try the Burgman forum.

As you say it a '11 reg it should still be under warranty anyway. :smile

Burgman fault code

Have spoken to 2 main suzuki dealers who both said until the bikes plugged into the computer they dont know what the fault or code is. or if it is covered under warranty. Bikes booked in on saturday so will see what they say. Thanks frazmataz but i cant find a decent burgman forum.

Burgman fault code

The bike was taken into HBC Suzuki Motorcycles in Nottingham a week last saturday and was told it had a faulty ecu, and also should have had a recall for a replacement fuel pump. So taken in today and the new parts were fitted under warranty. :smile
