Bike Vibration

I've had my 125 since December, and only in the last couple of weeks i have had a really annoying rattling noise.  It started from about 5mph.  the faster i went the worse it got.  I checked all the nuts i could find, but they were all ok.   I today popped down the street to see the only other bike guy there is here.  And he found the cause in about 10 seconds.  It is the side & centre stand vibrating when retracted.

He suggested trying to see if i can mount a rubber grommet somehow between the centre stand, and the metal plate it rests against on the frame

Anyone got some advice on this please

What bike is it........

and how old?,as most bikes have such a thing,so you should be able to replace it,or, have you lost a spring or have a loose retaining bolt?,as you've said the noise only started a week or so ago.
