So, BMW have the engine built by the cheap and cheerful Chinese, I assume in order to save money...then make it the most expensive scooter on the market. Not amused, it's a European marque, which should mean European jobs. STOP selling out to the Chinese, particularly with their attitude to human rights...

Actually Kymco is not a cheap Chinese copy. And I think its good BMW chose Kymco to make their engines. They used to manufactor parts for Honda and have been making bikes and scooters for over 30 years. Also they make 500cc scooters which have been available for over 5 years!!!As a bike trader I came acrooss all brands and some of Kymco scooters are as good as Japanese. But obviously if you dont try it you wont know it. Now a days most of big brands use components and parts made in far east to cut their expenses and Im sure BMW wouldnt make a cheap Chines scooter like.....
