Poll: Will Cal Crutchlow maintain his MotoGP form?

Cal Crutchlow scored another brilliant fourth place in last weekend's MotoGP, making it three fourths in a row if you count the final race of last season. Is this enough to count as form? Can we officially get excited about a bonafide British front-runner yet?  pollcomment

Factory Updates

If Cal can maintain his form for the next couple of races that should be enough to give him access to factory updates as they arrive. Assuming (yes I'm aware what happens when you assume) that happens and Spies continues to have problems. Cal should not only maintain his form but should (another dangerous word) be gunning for a factory seat.

I agree with other bit bloody early to be having a poll on his form MCN. Boys having a blinder let him and us enjoy it.

Pass on Nicky was fantastic, no quarter given, no apologies, no fear Cal's there to race with the big boys.

Quality

Cal was 2.5 seconds off the win in race 2 of the 1000's, on a statelite bike.....! Casey said he thought it was his best race ever.... Lorenzo and Pedrosa own Jerez, and yet Cal was right up Dani's tailpipe for the whole race.

And he also set the fastest lap of the race.

No point in building Cal up so you can all shoot him down. He's the real deal. He has won races in WSS, WSB, & BSB and sits 4th in the world currently.

Will his form continue? Yeah, and then he'll get the factory job.

Go down the bookies and get a £10 on him for a pdium at Estoril.

Hardest Man in the Garage?

Hardest man alive (or most dangerous man alive) has been widely disputed and generally falls into the light/heavyweight camp in UFC or K1 (prefer old school heroes like Don Frye, Shamrock, Kimo, Severn, Houst etc.).. anyway got me thinking after Cal and Tony Stark got in that little Podium tussle after Cal sprayed him with Champers (cuz he had a cold.. haha).  Anyway, I think Jamie Whitham said something about Cal being a stocky machine who would cause Stark a few issues if they exchanged knuckle bones.  I tend to agree, he has those nutter eyes (softened with a warm smile).   So, a better poll is:

Could Cal Despatch every other rider in the garage with Coventry Dragon Punches? As Paul Kaye said,"I don't want to see any of this Jackie Chan Bollox"

thoughts?

how disgraceful are you MCN. since Cals superb race result in Jerez you have not written any article about him instead concentrating on stoner and others, instead you question his performance in a silly poll instead of writing an article about his incedible performance and potential which we have not seen the the likes of since foggy days. Hang your head in shame MCN.

Shawno..

Ha ha - Still makes me laugh seeing Biaggi hopping off the podium like a little bitch, flinging his handbag and trying to cuddle Cal... You could see when Cal realised Biaggi was actually being serious he was like "Fuck you" ha ha... How he didn't lay him out i don't know...

Here it is for those who want a laugh.. Biaggi acting like a Girl

Once Cal is on a machine that is capable of running right at the front then he will be pissing Stoner and Lorenzo right off... They thought Rossi was a bastard with his fairing bashing but they aint seen the worst of it.... Just wait till Cal gets them elbows out and starts swapping some paint with em.... ha ha, i can hear the crying now.... Bring it on!

I can't understand

why peeps are getting they're knickers in a knot over this poll. MCN are trying to get us to participate by getting our points of view. Then, a few days later the results of the poll, along with a few reader comments and an article appear in the paper. Whats the issue? I think its good.

Cal seems to be gaining in strength, ability and self belief. How about us all getting behind him and supporting his efforts?  Good luck for the rest of the season, it may turn Moto GP into something worth watching!!!!!!
