Bleugh

I normally love rides, but...

I went on Rita - Queen of speed, followed closely by the Hex.  Felt ill for 2 days!!  (Refused point blank to go on Air - my son was very disappointed with me!)

yarrrruuppppppppp!

...no ta, to many moving parts for me, the stresses on those joints must be enormous.    As for the dog guard, apparently when i was a baby in the pram my mum had left me outside the shop with my dad's (off duty) police dog on guard. one poor old dear got a bit to close to say coochy coo....oops....only a little nip!.....dog probably would have been put down in todays times

Who needs fairground rides

Was at mallory for the first ever mag sport track day. They had a fair there and Mick needed some cash to have a go. Well he was never the fastest of riders and a little worse for wear from several funny fags. I said I'd take him to the bank so off we went. The A47 to Leicester's not the twistest of roads at normal road speeds but we went well above normal speed. He was a little quiet when we got to the bank but assured me he was ok so off we went. When we got back he just climbed off looked at me and said 'that was fucking horrendous' he didn't go on the fair though, saying he couldn't see the point after the blast he had had going to the bank lol

Rita & Air

Went on Rita & loved the acceleration. Was disapointed with air, too tame. Hex was good but it's just 'mind games', just as well with those 'safety (?) rails.

I thought the best ones at Alton Towers were  Oblivion & Nemisis.

Didn't fancy Rip Saw as, not only where the movements mad but the water jets that soaked you are too much.
