If its occured

after a jet wash, chances are you'll have water in your electrical system somewhere. (I'm assuming it was ok up to that point?).

Go through your electrical system thoroughly, (battery, ignition switch, coils, HT leads, starter motor & relay) paying particular attention to any block connectors / multi-plugs that may be flooded with water.

Out of interest, what state is your battery in? Does the bike turn over at all?

Check your fuses 1st

If you've gotten water in the electrics somewhere it may have blown a fuse due to a short circuit so start with those, especially as you say that there's no digital display. Can you get another battery to the bike? Use jump leads if necessary but have the engine from a car or larger bike SWITCHED OFF before you try and start yours.

Can you get a wiring diagram in google or other?

You should have a live feed to your ignition switch,i would locate the block connector from/to the switch and check, remember to disconnect the battery before unplugging and then check for a feed with battery connected using a mutimeter.

Which diode?

A diode should conduct one way, but not the other.

diode doesn't conduct either way.surely this can't put the full bike down.
